The Grey Shade Of Existence
diagnosed with depression
reality slowly fading away to grey
doctors do not believe me that I am
happy
continiously examined to the point of non-existence
more people go against the view that I am
happy
everyones opinion against my own
believed insane by the populous
my reality becomes a bubble
no-one seems to want me to be
happy
continiously examined to the point of non-existence
more people go against the view that I am
happy
a spherical version of its former self
doomed to the depression
i dare myself to call my only bluff
the sphere depletes faster and faster
leaving no room for me
for body nor ego I'm still
happy
Reality turns to the final shade of grey
black with pinpricks of light
at the periphy of infinity
steeped in behemoth machines
am I still
happy
reached the point of existence
no people left to say that I am not
happy
ruling cities empty of life
but full of the electricity
with a solitary robot
the aide with no sense of humanity
no notion of the three laws
still consoling me like it doesn't understand
in an unknown hour of need
a small offer of alcoholic friendship
it will protect me now
in this world of giant machines
can i be
happy
